I feel like a star,

Thrown so far,

In that sparkling night sky,

Yet so far alone, I am tied,

I am so close, yet so far away,

I want to move, yet I cannot stray,

My path has been foretold,

Abandoned in this cold,

Just a single dot in space and time,

Not to be talked about in reason or rhyme,

Dark under the moon, here I lie,

Left here to die,

I am just another to be outshined,

In this darkness forever,

Confined.
